Hello my name is Amy.  Welcome to my blog!

 

I am originally from Long Island and now reside in the Capital Region.  I am a newlywed of a year.  My husband Billy and I met while completing our undergraduate degrees at SUNY Cortland.  After dating for several years, we decided to get married last April.  We had a quaint and memorable ceremony up in the Adirondacks at a resort called The Sagamore.

 

I received my undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland in early childhood education.  I am certified to teach grades first through sixth.  I currently teach first grade within the capital region.  I am a long term substitute teacher (I am keeping me fingers crossed that another position  will open up that is more long term).  In addition to teaching, I also tutor and volunteer throughout my community.
